Kill The Brickman FAQ

What is Kill the Brickman?

It's a turn-based roguelike bullet-building brick-breaker (try saying that twice), from outer space. Load your clip with bizarre bullets, stack relics, and turn your peashooter into a galaxy-cracking cannon. Shoot first, stack synergies later? Now that's how you Kill the Brickman.

How do I play?

- Select your sidearm: you can rock a revolver, pierce with a pistol or shower them with the shotgun.
- Choose your quests: Each chapter offers randomised missions with different rewards, enemies, and surprises.
- Load your chamber: All that's left is to load up your bullets, arrange them using the layouts, and take aim at waves of Brickmen.
- Fire away: Turns are tactical. Bricks are rude. Bosses are worse. But you've got bullets with attitude.
- Survive a few rounds, and a boss will show up to ruin your day. Beat it, and you get stronger. Lose? Back to zero.

How much does Kill the Brickman cost?

£3.99 / $4.99 / €4,99. Check out your local digital online video game store for an exact pricing, as they differ region to region.

What platforms is Kill the Brickman coming to?

Kill the Brickman is available right now on Steam, Xbox and Xbox for PC. Future platforms are yet to be announced, but keep an eye on our socials for more details.

What controls does Kill the Brickman support?

What's the deal with bullets?

Bullets come in three diabolically deadly colours:
- Red explodes
- Green corrodes
- Blue clones

You can buy more and even unique bullets, mix and match them, or try to build a full-on arsenal that combos with your relics and layouts.

What are relics and layouts?

Relics are game-changing trinkets that add special effects to your run with passive bonuses which can enhance your bullets. Layouts determine how your bullets are arranged in the chamber. More attack, more bounce, more effects - more more more!

Can I build broken stuff?

That's the goal. Combo your bullets, relics, and layouts into unholy weapons of brick destruction. Make a self-replicating green explosion cannon. Or a piercing red one-shot death machine.

What kind of Brickmen will I fight?

- Standard Brickmen: smug, stackable, and doomed
- Elites: nasty variants with quirks, resistances, and the audacity to adapt
- Bosses: handcrafted nightmares with custom mechanics and big health bars

Each location and chapter brings its own flavors of Brickman pain. Learn their tricks, or get bricked.

How do I win?

Shoot bricks. Stack relics. Break the bank. Become a true space cowboy, one run at a time. Then saddle up and do it all over again - but this time with a clip full of corroding, multiplying death.

Is there multiplayer in Kill the Brickman ?

No, Kill the Brickman is a solo experience. Compete with yourself and only yourself. A lone space cowboy.

Are there any micro-transactions or lootboxes in Kill the Brickman?

Nope. Just bricks, clips and bullets, none of that "needing your credit card" here.

Did poncle work on this game?

Kill the Brickman is developed by Doonutsaur, but poncle is the game’s publisher. We spotted a cool game, decided the world needed it, and are helping bring it to you. No. Kill the Brickman is all about your own chaotic, run-based journey. Finding ridiculous synergies, smashing your way through levels, and seeing just how far you can push it.
