It's you versus the world, or at least what's left of it.
Berserk or Die is an action slash ‘em up where movement is attack, and your keyboard is your weapon.
Enemies charge from both sides of the battlefield. You hammer keys to swing your blade. The more keys you hit, the wilder your attacks become. Stop swinging? You stop moving. And then you die.
Spend your gold with the Peddler between waves. Train harder. Hit faster. Shake the mouse for devastating specials once your gauge is full.

How do I play Berserk or Die?
Press (or smash) buttons to attack left or right. Press (or smash) more buttons to hit more enemies. There is no walking; only slashing, hacking and cutting your way to victory.
Survive the onslaught, make it to nightfall, then spend your gold at the Peddler to heal up and power up.
Want to hit everything on screen? Time your strikes to the stamina gauge, smash the keys, and let your hands go feral.
Train, equip new weapons, learn new moves, and pray your fingers/hands/stumps can keep up.
Then do it again. And again. And again. Until there's nothing left of you or the keyboard. You are one now. Are you pressing the board or is the key pressing you? Where do you end and the board begins?
What controls does Berserk or Die support?
Berserk or Die supports keyboard controls, and various controllers too (for more civilized types). It's best to try the controller you've got!

Who is Nao Games?
Nao Games is the one-man studio of Japanese developer Nao Shibata. A former graphic designer turned solo dev with a knack for chaotic action and striking visuals. His previous game was the high-speed platformer Ninja or Die: Shadow of the Sun, and Berserk or Die continues his tradition of building a game that's stylish, fast, and just a little unhinged.
