Look, you simply wouldn't believe the amount of paperwork that's actually involved in video games, and just how complex it is navigating all that paper. It's truly horrifying when all we set out to do is add cool stuff for you (the player) to check out and enjoy. The addition of Ante Chamber in to Vampire Survivors on Apple Arcade is a very unique set of circumstances and conversations that have happened over a long time, and we're very pleased (and honored) that LocalThunk and Playstack have agree'd to let us do this. They are certified cool. This doesn't go without saying that we're not looking in to other content packs being added to Apple Arcade (or that other companies aren't cool, because they are), but please don't shout at us on social media for how long this takes, it isn't a quick process and it's something we look in to frequently.

Every DLC takes time to create, balance, approve, and all the fun things that come with making content with other folks IP's. We've been working on this for a little while, but we're working on a number of things currently, and we only have so many people to work on things.
Can I play local co-op in Vampire Survivors: Ante Chamber?
If you have local friends, absolutely! Bring them all round, grab 4 controllers and you're all set. If you have friends in outer space, likely not, as that isn't very local to Earth, but if those friends visit your couch when they're back from outer space, absolutely!
Can I play Vampire Survivors: Ante Chamber with characters from other DLC, or free content characters?
You bet. Not literally though, there's no need to bet anything as you can use any character on any stage in Vampire Survivors.

When we added the Advanced Music Selector to Vampire Survivors, we added the ability to choose your music tracks in-game for the stage you're about to attempt to survive. Vampire Survivors: Ante Chamber will be added to this music panel, so you can choose to listen to the track at your own whimsy.
Is the DLC Cross-Buy on PlayStation formats?
Much like our other DLCs, yes, Vampire Survivors: Ante Chamber is cross-buy on PlayStation formats. The question is, are you even buying it if it's free? Because it is also free.

As a collaborative DLC, Vampire Survivors: Ante Chamber does not feature platform level achievements/trophies. It does, however, feature in-game achievements that you can follow to unlock all the content in-game.

Why Balatro?
So a long time ago, Vampire Survivors appeared in Balatro in Friends of Jimbo 1, a free cosmetic pack that allows you to change the face cards (King, Queen, Jack) in to Vampire Survivors characters (Sigma, Poe, Villain). Ever since then, we've carried on chatting, and we thought this would be a fun way of saying thank you to Localthunk and Playstack. Also we just like making fun content and a lot of the team were absorbed by Balatro on it's launch (and to this day).
